Street of Shops

Terrible! As a vendor I would NEVER recommend this place to potential vendors. The day we were scheduled to arrive, the stall we signed a lease for wasn’t available. Gave us a $h!tty stall for a month in a dark, dank back corner so they could prepare our stall which took them a month to do. Every time we visited our stall items were broken, missing, moved, or stolen but management did nothing. They even complained when we asked them to unlock the back door so we could bring more products in. We used to love to shop here and thought it would be a great place to put our reselling business. We have never been treated so horribly. Manager said “That sounds like none of my business.” How is MY business, which makes YOUR business money not YOUR business? Don’t rent here. We found another shop that is cheaper, a nicer location, and friendlier to work with.

The historic mill is in a nice town. They have the university there. The mill is easy to find. A parking lot is across the street. There is a restaurant inside the mill. They have a handicap bathroom & other bathrooms. The shops include the theme of Main Street, Downtown, and Uptown. Wear comfortable shoes because they have 375 small shops to go thru. Open 7 days a week. This indoor shopping experience is one of a kind!

Terrible, terrible, terrible. As a vendor that was finally able to get out, I would NEVER recommend this place to other potential vendors. The day we had arranged for and signed our lease to arrive, our stall was not empty nor available. They gave us another $h!tty stall way back in a dark, dank corner for a month until they could prepare the stall that we had agreed to in our signed lease. Every time we visited our stall we found items broken, stolen, missing, or moved and they did nothing to resolve our issues. They complained every time we asked them to unlock the back door so we could bring more products in. Their airtight 6 page lease proves how often they have brought on these issues themselves so there is no getting out of it. When we spoke with the manager he said “that sounds like none of my business.” How can MY business, which makes YOUR business money through my rent AND a percentage of my sales, not be YOUR business? Street of Shops used to be one of our favorite places to shop so we decided it would be a great place to have our reseller shop but the way they treat their vendors is deplorable and has left a bad taste in our mouths. Don’t even think about renting a stall or booth here. We found another place shop that is cheaper, a better location, and friendlier to work with. Terrible, terrible, terrible.
